Baptism
Parents should arrange with the Parish Office for Baptisms. Baptisms take place on the second Saturday of the month in English and the third Saturday of the month in Spanish, both take place at 12:00 noon in the Church. All baptismal instruction is done in English in the Parish Center on the First Saturday of the month at 11:00 am. If pre-baptismal class is completed the baptism will not take place.
*Sponsors per Ca. 874 - 1. To be admitted to the role of Sponsor, a person must be designated by the one to be baptized, by the parents or the one who takes place in their absence, by the pastor or minister and is to have the qualifications and intentions of performing this role;
2. Have completed the 16th year, unless a different age has been established by the diocesan bishop or it seems to the pastor or minister that an exception is to be made for a just cause;
3. be a Catholic who has been confirmed and has already received the sacrament of the Most Holy Eucharist and leads a life in harmony with the faith and the role to be undertaken; (A registered, active, parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Church for at least 6 months. Active is defined as attending Sunday Mass.
